Why use debco direct for your custom importing?
• Discounted pricing, particularly when ocean freight is used. Costs can be less
even with airfreight on some lightweight items requiring complicated imprints
• Differentiation through decoration; many decorating options making the entire
bag a canvas for your client’s artwork
• Customizing through accessorizing: webbing, piping, zippers
• Customization through additions: extra pockets, card holders, pen pouches,

• Hang tags, labels etc. can be used for self promotion or additional

• Exclusivity – your ideas & designs are kept “secret” and will not be published
Delivery:
• Ocean freight deliveries approximately 10-14 weeks
• Non-Woven fabric bags now available in 8-10 weeks by ocean 6-7 weeks
by air
• Airfreight is always an option, but can add considerably to the cost. Estimate
$100.00 per box, but consider how many units can fit in one box. Lead times are
reduced by about 3 weeks when airfreight is used

• Products are bought from suppliers in both Mainland China and India
Minimum Order
• Varies greatly by type of product and price of product
• Dependant on overseas supplier used
• Non-woven bags = 5000
• Many sport bags, knapsacks etc. = 1000
• The higher the item price, the lower the minimum in most cases
• Products where tooling is required have higher minimums (i.e. custom umbrellas
where frames need to be purchased)
When to use debco direct
• We have chosen to import ONLY those items that fall into categories of our
expertise, while using ONLY suppliers with whom we have strong relationships
• This would include all products in our line & derivatives and variations of
those products (including design and fabrics)
• We will reproduce virtually all bag items found in retail stores, or in the
U.S.
• We do not import electronics, timepieces, clothing or hats

Checklist
Thank you for the opportunity to work with you on this project. To ensure that
we are quoting on exactly what your client is looking for, please include as
much information as possible within your quote request.
The following is a list of parameters that you should consider and those marked
with an * is criteria that is essential for a meaningful quote.
• Quantity *
• Delivery Date * [shorter lead times may be accommodated with in-stock
quantities]
• Client-specified NET price range (this will allow us to recommend an
alternative should the product you request be out of your budget *
• Product colour(s)
• Preferred decoration method [embroidery, screening, debossing]
• Number of imprint colors or specify BLANK if no imprint is required*
• Product material (600 denier, non-woven, post-consumer recycled plastic,
natural cotton etc). This is EXTREMELY important when doing comparative quoting.
• Additional features; pockets, gusset, longer handles, etc.
